Creating an Axis from a Model 1

Is there a tool that will help create an axis from a model? I've attached a step model. I've tried creating basic curves in the strait areas but one of the ends won't let me create a center point. So now I'm out of ideas on how to create the axis.

And if I did get all the strait axis, how would I create the axis for the curved areas? Anybody?

Are you looking to extract the centerline of the tube?
