Hi All

In the Catia V5 help docs there is a MS Excel file "PointSplineLoftFromExcel.xls" that has a macro built in to allow for swift generation of points, splines & lofts in a Catia V5 part.

I am unable to find a similar tool in the online docs for 3DEXPERIENCE 2019x! So 2 questions arise for me.
Is this tool present in Catia 3DEXPERIENCE 2019x?
Can the file provided in V5 be adapted to work in Catia on 3DEXPERIENCE 2019x?

Thanks.

Thank you Ferdo

For anyone else that might need it the file is now called "GSD_PointSplineLoftFromExcel.xls" and I found it in the location C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\B421\win_b64\code\command

Thanks again.

Hello Ferdo

This will be very useful, but when I try to run it I get the following error:
"License information for this component not found. You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment."

Is this error Catia related or Microsoft or something else?
I am running 3DX2019x with an on premise installation > windows 10 Pro > Dell Precision 7730 > MS office 365 business premium.

Any assistance in this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Hi.
This is a VBA issue - see stackoverflow

Hi Little Cthulhu

Thank you for your reply. Most links are dead though[sad].
Coupled to that my programming knowledge is zero, so please excuse my ignorance with my next question.
Since Visual Basic is no longer supported,is purchasing Visual Studio for Applications a viable solution to get this to work?

thank you
