Hello.
If a user wants to create product structure from templates, what is the best approach?

For example.
New assy containing 20 new various form parts and 3 new sub-assy with 5..10 new parts.
PartNumbers look like the following list
P1 - assy
P1-1 - part
P1-2 - part
P1-...
P1-20
P2 - subassy
P2-1 - part
P2-2 - part
P2-N

All I was able to do was to create a new empty part and its drawing, then repeat NewFrom command N times from to create N new parts with drawings.
Or you can assign Part numbers in Design table and with "resolve" command in CatalogEditor you can generate N new empty parts.
But what about the drawings, what ways are available in Catia to generate the pair (Part+Drawing) N times?

If I am correct, Document Template is what I am looking for, please advise how to use it in a proper way and what else this command can do.

And one more question:
I have some knowledge about using PowerCopy and UserFeature, but I don't understand what their key differences are.

in 3DEXPERIENCE we have license for product template I have the feeling in CATIA V5 it is something like PKT (Product Knowledge Template)

you can check catia documentation about that.

powercopy or userfeature are for template inside a part (geometry, parameters...) , not for assembly template (sub assembly, parts...)
