Creating Point Charts. 1

I need to know how to creat a point chart in IDEAS. I know this can be done in CATIA 4 & CAT5, and also UG, Which CAT5,
and UG use excel sheets to create point charts. to be placed on 2D drawings. I need to know how to do this in IDEAS. So that I can get X,Y,Z cords on drawings,

Unfortunately there is not a predefined way of doing this.

The way it's generally done in I-DEAS to write a Program File that captures the XYZ co-ords of a number of selected points then filters just the info needed into a text file. That Text file can then be placed on the the drawing sheet.
