Creo show/erase/delete dimensions issue....yes another one

I am experiencing a strange issue in Pro-E Creo M120. I have read the well documented problems/issues that were introduced to the show/erase dimension commands and the work arounds do not help me in this situation.

Here is what I am working with. I have an assembly composed of a machined casting (saved as a FAB component with an external merge of the casting brought in then cut away). The assembly has two configurations. In one configuration the FAB component is threaded directly and in another the FAB component is drilled to prepare for an insert. I set up a simplifed rep in both the FAB component and the top level assembly for both configurations.

On my drawing when I set the correct reps in the views, ALL my dimensions "erase" themselves even for dimensions that are in features that are included in both reps. Since I have GD&T and datums attached to the dimensions they do not appear in the annotations tab in the layer tree.

What is the preferred way to handle this now? Does Pro-E not have functionality to support multiple reps on the same drawing any more? I see the person who worked the previous version of this part made two completely separate models/assemblies to support the drawing. I had tried to condense them into one model as I felt that was a cleaner approach. I did I lead myself down the wrong path?

Here is a bit of info on how I set up my reps in the FAB component and assembly files.

FAB component is a .prt. All features are common to both reps with the exception of one hole preperation. The features specific to the hole preperation have been split into different reps.

The assembly file reps just load the specific FAB rep that is desired and then includes or supresses the insert.

I would attach files and images but all customer files are considered proprietary and cannot be shared or viewed. There are ITAR issues with sharing images on these ones.

I think I have narrowed down the issue some but I have not been able to resolve it. I "think" the issues are coming from having a simplified rep of a model shown on my drawing. When I have a rep in both the assembly and part, I am completley unable to dimension the views. Does Pro not support using simplified reps on drawings anymore? What value is there to using reps now if you cannot show or even create draft dimensions when using one?
