I am interested in the "best" way to detail cross bridging for engineered wood joists (EWJ).
I understand that it is not prefered by the joist manufactuurers but in some cases (very high performance expectations) I want to have it installed.
What details work best or have fewest problems?
I find occasions when I need to specify this after construction, so please distinguish between those details for new construction and existing.
