Hi All,

Just wondering what kind of methodology people are using all over the world to crush slag once it comes out of the smelter.

Any new and efficient ideas??

Thank you!

I'm not a processing guy, but I believe that when coming out of the smelter, the slag is in molten liquid form and is essentially poured onto the slag piles. This is a cool sight to see especially at night. There is no need for slag coming out of the smelter to be crushed.

If you are interested in crushing slag AFTER it has solidified, I am not sure how that could be done.

yep crushing it after to be reused

Did you think to look on the internet, google "crushing slag" only 4,950,000 hits.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
