Has anyone designed a cryogenic chamber? I have a client who has asked us to retro-fit a chamber for him. He would like us to add a liquid nitrogen "line" into the chamber to get to the temperature he requires. Can you buy a LN2 packaged system, or do we need to purchase LN2 bottles, hoses, valves, etc...? If such a "package" is available whom should I contact?

Contact your local Linde representaive or get in touch with someone at Union Carbide. Depending on how much you'll need they should be able to help you . Or make a call to a local welding supply company.

Don

Mark's Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineering also features an extensive section on cryogenics, if more in-depth information is required.

Paul R
