Curb ramps over a joint detail

Is this part of a ramp with a curb going over an expansion joint?
If so, just provide a joint in the curb/ramp to match the existing joint. Seal it as required. If large joint, consider using a commercial joint cover or fab one using HDG steel for light use and stainless steel for heavy use.
