I am currently developing a test circuit to output a lightning current wave with a peak of 10kA. My problem is that in order to get the required characteristics of the wave ie. rise and fall times, I need a 0.3ohm resistor. I am not sure what type of material to use that would sustain a peak of 10kA for approxiamately 30microseconds. I was considering water...any suggestions.
