Does anyone know where current prices for alloying addition ferroalloys can be obtained for free. There are some places that provide the current prices but only with an expensive yearly subscription.
I have one job where I need to know the current prices for a client. Therefore, I don't want to subscribe to a yearly subscription to get the answers. Current prices would be those within the last 60 days.
Thanks for your help.

This is the website of the London Metals Exchange. This is the metal Wall Street. The current prices are listed for free. The only thing you need to know is what percentage of the alloy is in the ferro-alloy. The iron you normally get for free.

Your best bet under the present metal market is to send a RFQ for the desired alloys to you suppliers.

Nearly all the suppliers have a "Call" in the price column. If you are talking large quantity I certainly would start early with your procurement process. It is also harder to get a long term commitment or set up a periodic delivery based on a fixed price at the present time.

If you can visit Alibaba.com or any other Chinese B2B sites. Place your enquiry and there will be a deluge of mails everyday. This way you can get daily quotes at no cost. Ferroalloy market is quite steady except for ferromoly . Have a BP monitor near you before you check the prices for this .(I was kidding)
