Cursor/crosshair Not Visible in Drawing Area

Hi,

I have installed Draftsight Version Beta V1R1.4 on a system running Ubuntu 10.10.

I have been creating a drawing for a few days and everything was going fine, but now the mouse pointer has disappeared within the drawing and I am not able to see where the cursor is. The pointer is visible everywhere outside the drawing area, just disappears when I move the mouse into the drawing area.

If I start a new drawing file, the cursor is visible again within the drawing area. It is only invisible in the drawing I've been working on.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it?
