custom iproperties

Dear Folks;

I am using Inventor 10 at a customers location and want to create a bill of material description field which lists the size of each cut component in an assembly.

I have exported the dimension parameters I need and they show up under custom properties in the ipropeties dialog box. Now I need to concatenate these dimension together in one field so that the part size description updates in the bill of material when the part model is changed.

Does Inventor have provisions for doing this ?

I know I can type in the part size into the description field and have it show up on the BOM but it would be nice to automate the whole process.

I don't think IV has any provision for this. Check out Yippee Pro.
