Good morning Geo-Gents,
I would like to download and install cwalsht. Anyone knows hot to download it? I have been trying to find it in the USACE website, but it is nowhere to be found. Thanks and have a great Friday!

does any one knows if a link exist to download the CWALSHT online? the post we are making reference it's from 2010... only 11 years have past

We were working with the Corps of Engineers and they instructed (demanded) us to use CWALSHT. It still was very difficult to get it. We asked the Engineer who was reviewing our work (a nice guy) to get us a copy. It's apparently maintained out of another office, I think in Birmingham, Alabama, so he put us in touch with them. A few more Emails and crying phone calls and we got a copy.

@JedClampett , do you have any contact info that you can share with me? I'm in a similar situation, and I have been calling a few USACE district offices, Engineer Research and Development Center, etc. and they keep telling me that they haven't hear about the program. I don't know what else to do at this point

I hate to put my guys names in a public forum like this. I don't want to piss him off. But he was in the Jacksonville Office.

In researching my records, the direct answer I got from CASE (and I'm not sure what CASE stands for) was:

"We appreciate your interest in our CASE Program CWALSHT.

If you work on a contract with the CORPS:

We do provide this service to our government district/divisions. If your team is working on a project
with one of these district/divisions, you should contact them and they can get access to CASE software
and can provide you with this service.

If you work on contracts with a form of the government (state or local ) or school/universities:

Please send us a brief description of your project and who you are working for. On occasions my supervisor has made exceptions.

However, I regret to inform you that it is possible that your request for access to this applications may not filled.
Funding constraints has forced the termination of this free service to non-government persons. Other distribution
options were explored, but none were able to meet security restrictions."

I can't imagine how much effort there is to send a computer program through Email, but apparently, it's pretty costly. [ponder]

Thank you guys, I'll see what I can do so cross those fingers!
