Is it necessary for a WPQ Welders Cert to be stamped with a CWI stamp and is it stated anywhere.

It is necessary only if required by the contract. It is not required by AWS specifications.

Doesn't hurt anything at all to have a CWI stamp on WPQs, WPSs, PQRs....you can stamp these documents.

There is no requirement by AWS to ever use a stamp. Some contracts/job specs will want reports, PQR's, and WPS' to be stamped by a CWI.

Makes sense to stamp the WPQ's if you need the WPQ's on future projects. Codes may change, and some clients will only approve WPQ's approved by a third party organization.
