Hello,

In the front of the male rotor shaft is roller bearing NU315ET Polyamide Cage, speed ca. 4900 rpm, gear ratio 1.65. Bearing has been damaged several times (blocked) and replaced by new one.
What should be internal clearance for this bearing, normal or C3? And maybe change the bearing manufacturer, at present is .......
Thank you for help.

Regards,
Viki

What service is the compressor in? In raw well gas service I've seen shaft bearings go out due to oil contamination from the oil absorbing water vapor from the process gas.

If it is in dry service, you might get better information if you mention the make and model of the machine.
