Hi!
Does anyone have some good references to design dam booms, like in the picture below?
In Canada, Dam booms typically need to be removed in fall because of ice formation on the reservoirs, then reinstalled at the beginning of spring. The ice pushes on the booms, destroying them. However, I have seen a few permanent booms, that can be installed all seasons. The one I need to install is all seasons.
Does anyone have any good dam boom references such as books?
