I have some noise in my Abaqus Explicit Simulation, would like to use global damping. I have found only Bulk Viscosity for Abaqus Explicit. Although I would like to use Mass Proportional Damping, but I dont think, there are options for the same. Mass Proportional Damping is available only at Material Level but not on Global Level in Abaqus Explicit. Is there any other way to introduce numerical damping ?

Thanks in Advance.

What kind of noise is that ? Maybe output filtering will be sufficient. It can be done either during postprocessing (operations on XY data) or by the solver (filters enabled in field or history output requests).

I am using filters to some extent, although I would like to eliminate this noise. (or atleast have some way to prove that damping would remove the numerical noise before using filters). I am measuring some velocity and I have a noise of about 300 Hz in the output.

I'm afraid that bulk viscosity (which can be also applied to a particular region) and mass proportional damping defined for materials are the only ways to introduce such damping to Explicit analyses.
