Data Center Construction

I just got a job as a junior project manager for a firm that specializes in data center construction. I don't really know much about the intricacies of these projects, does anyone have any insight and resources I could look at? Thanks.

Ask your Senior Project Manager.
Junior persons are not expected to know squat when they arrive.
You might pick through whatever your predecessor left behind for clues;
remain aware that said person left, for some reason.

All I know is that data centers use electricity and convert it to heat.

Fair enough. I have an undergraduate in construction management. But I know next to zilch about MEP, fire suppression or servers in general. So that's why I'm worried about being overwhelmed.

You will be overwhelmed for a little bit - that's normal. Learn to work well with your team, focus on delivering what you've been tasked and ask questions as you go to learn more. Spend some discretionary time taking stock of everything you've seen and heard and see if there are avenues that strikes you as interesting for further study.

mikeHalloran is right, partially.

bu ti think what the OP is looking for outside sources that show the proper way. OP's senior may not be good, or just not be good in teaching, and the predecessor may not have been good or not documented well. Always good to learn from the old guys, but also good to learn it the right way. Maybe his current peers are old school, and some computerized methods will help they can't provide.
