Hi

I'm new to this website but it seems like there's a lot of knowledgeable folks out there kind enough to share their years of experience ! Fantastic !

I am looking for the data sheet for an old Westinghouse TR-2H auxiliary tripping relay used in some 13.8 kV metalclad switchgear, circa 1989.

Specifically, I need to know what kind of current the tripping coil draws for application at 125VDC (but a complete data sheet would be preferable).

Please help if at all possible. Thanks in advance !

1989 is old?

So what you really need is the resistance of the trip coil? Is this VCP-W gear?

The metalclad is Siemens switchgear. I have all relevant data for the switchgear, but need data for the Westinghouse TR-2H tripping relay, ideally a complete data sheet.

I don't remember Westinghouse ever making a relay called TR-2H. I know of the TR-1. Do you have any more numbers off of the relay?

Why not just measure the resistance of the coil with an ohmmeter and calculate the current?
