datasheet and information about 6c17504 and 1d17409 8pin ic 3

hi , i have a power supply of epson eb-x41 projector that doesn't turn on . i haven't found the problem yet but in the power supply circuit it has 2 ics that i couldn't find any datasheet or just a little data about them, i think they should be switching ics but it's so strange for me why there is no data about them?!

Sorry. You are doomed.

Those are custom marked and likely custom proprietary ICs. Epson is a semiconductor company and could easily create its own custom parts for an Epson product.

Step 1: Replace all the electrolytic caps.
Step 2: Check all the surface mount caps.

90% of the fails at Rossmann and Big Clive involve those things. The surface mount ones fracture internally. Under a microscope one can sometimes see failure at the end cap. The surface mount caps can also short internally which is what usually interferes - pulling signal lines down.

Is it my imagination, or are there scorch marks, about 1 inch from 20 deg NW of the bottom orange arrow?

esinior; 3DDave's suggestion is the only option likely available. It's excellent advice too.

Also use a 75X microscope and examine every single solder joint.

thank you all guys very much. all of your advices is helpful . that scorch is For the sake of discharging cap. spark , my last multimeter was broken due to high voltage cap discharge and i discharged this 180u 450v one with a screwdriver instead of a lamp. and at last it seems i can't access the datasheets of these parts. thanks again

there are optocouplers and i should command the power supply to turn on i think

Optocouplers are one IC that definitely wears out unlike most.
