Hi!
Our very small engineering office is now switching from WF 4.0 to CREO 2.0
We have no data management system.
We make all plots paper-free from CREO to a pdf, using "save a copy". (mapkey)
We need the date and time of the plot on the pdf. (outside the border at the right bottom corner)
At WF 4.0 we used the usg tools. They worked fine.
The mapkey first actualised the value of the Parameter '&plotdate'
using sPlotdate of the uTools and than did the export of the pdf.
Now, the tool is no longer working with CREO.
Has anyone an idea?
I tried to get sPlotdate working by installing manually
(I copied uTools.jar and uTools.exe to CREO2.0\Common Files\M080\text\java and copied the utools section from protk.dat)
I tried copieing the date to the clipboard by system commands and pasting to a parameter (CTRL+V isn't working inside a mapkey)
I tried editing the cell of the table and pasting the clipboard text directly, not using a parameter. (Mapkey doesn't edit the table without additional clicks)
I tried editing a note and reading in a prepared file (Mapkey doesn't edit note without additional clicks ...)
I also read this.
And this
All until now NO SUCCESS.
Does anyone know a way?
Greetings, Holger
