datum curve creation

How do you sketch a datum curve in WF? The curve menu no longer has a sketch option. I tried Insert/Model datum/Sketch but that is only a sketch and not a curve. Did they get rid of this feature?

A sketch is a sketched datum curve. There is no difference (except that you can use them to directly create features now).

Insert/Model datum/Sketch does create a datum curve - okay, the model tree shows it as a sketch, but it is a datum curve.
