Datums

Hi Guys.

I am using 2008 inventor and i am not very familiar with it im a PTC Pro Engineer user.

Is there a way to turn the Datum Planes on when you first start up the package and start a new part?

I only ask cause i have figured out how to customise the rest of the package to how i like it but i would also like to not have to go into the model tree every time and turn the datums to visable

I know its probably an easy fix but im getting frustrated now

Change them to visible in your template file.

I can tell you that I seldom have the workplanes visible in Inventor (not needed to be visible to use).
