Current and voltage ? AC or DC ? If AC, one or three phase ?

Sorry for the lack of intial info.
This would be for a DC set up and the motor says 12 v on the outside and so does the solenoid that will only run in one direction. Thats it. I would like to run this in forward and reverse.

Thanks
Terry

Is your motor reversible?
If its reversible you can use two relays, one for each direction, wired like a winch. If not you may have to use two motors.

I'm checking voltage and reversable motor, not sure. there is no information on the outside. I can't use two motors.
I was told this is or very much like a snow plow motor which can run both directions to lift or lower the blade.
I will post the additional info as soon as I have it.
Thanks for the help so far.

Terry
