DC balance

We need to generate data stream using 8bit to 11 bit encoding for DC balance.
Where can I find any information (equation, look-up table...) of such type of encoding

Have you looked up "NRZ", Non-Return-Zero signalling?

itsmoked, I think you mean NRZI.
NRZ has serious problems with DC bias.

8b/10b is a known and widely used type of encoding
There are 8b/11b and 8b/14b encoding but I cant find any information how convert 8bit to 11bit
