Dear Eng-Tipers,

How do I align numerical data using the decimal point in Excel 2004 for Mac?

i.e.:
32.4
412.32
0.354

have you tried the formatting built into excel? Or custom formatting (###.##0) then apply justification. just a thought.

Make the number format as follows
32.400
412.320
0.354
The decimal points will be aligned now. I don't know whether this will solve your problem.
