Hello to all,

i would like to define heat transfer coefficient as a function (in Steady state thermal), i.e. in relation to channel diameter, Reynolds number and Prandtl number.
I can't define this as a constant value because the diameter is constantly changed by Design of experiement in Ansys.
Do I have to program this with APDL? or is it also possible with Workbench?

Thank you

You should be able to define parameters as a function of other parameters in Workbench in the parameters page.

Thank you for your Answer.
I tried to define the parameters depending on other parameters in the Workbench on the parameter page.
But it didn't work, i think it only works if both parameters have the same unit.
Film coefficient does not have the same Unit as Dimensions

Share some pictures, it will make this a lot easier.

An example what you can do in parameters section:

Many thanks for the tips
it has worked now
