Defining variables in optimaztion study

Hi!
How do you specify the dimensions that you want varied in an optimization run? The tutorial has dimensions defined but I don't know how they defined it. (COSMOS Works 2007 Cantilever Bracket tutorial). I actually wanted to vary the thickness of an extruded part

Hi,
make the dimensions you need visible in the working view, then when prompted to select them pick graphically in the viewport.
Note: this used to be true in v.2004: after, I don't know.

Hi,
I don't remember exactly, it's a matter of SolidWorks, not of CosmosWorks "per se". I seem to remember a way was to go to the feature manager, right-click on the feature whom the dimension belongs to, and select "show dimensions".

Things may have changed since v.2004 but I think SW has kept this in the latest releases.
