I'm trying to commission a large sytem designed and built by a Chinese contractor for a power plant in Central America. The owner severed the relationship with the EPC contractor so I can't get answers from the design engineers.
The protection relay logic and all the breaker controls use standard 3-letter relay names that indicate the relay function, something like the ANSI numbering.
I'm looking for a description of what the terms mean. Examples:
KKJ = 52a slave relay "Post Closed"
TBJ = Trip Seal In
TBJV = "Soft Lockout and Anti-Pump"
TWJ = Breaker Open (52b)
HWJ = Closed (52a)
YHJ = Manual CLose Input
YTJ = Manual Trip Input.
I searched the internet but could not find an English version. I've been assuming that it is not an IEC standard because a Chinese engineer here said the abbeviations are from the first sounds of the Chinese words.
Any one have an index?
