Deflection Head Track Bracket

Hi All,

I am designing a bracket for an external facade wall. We need to provide the gap of 20-30mm to allow for incremental deflection.the bracket needs to be fabricated with the slotted holes for the screw (as shown in the attached sketch). What checks I need to run on the bracket to determine the thickness of the bracket?
Only self weight of lining/framing and external wind pressure is applied to the stud. The reaction at the top is 3KN.

But let us assumed there is no deflection head track and only it is a bracket. what do you think in that case?
