Deformable Part 1

Hi everybody

I am working with NX 8.0 and I need to make a deformable, it is just a tube that should follow a guide line, I think that I need something called GUIDE STRING in order to get the deformable part in the assembly but I'm not sure how to do it or if I need a special license. I can make that a solid changes some measures but what I need is to fix a line between two points and the tube changes its properties following the guide line.

All you have to do is create you 'guide' in the context of the assembly, either directly, using normal curve construction techniques, or by performing an extraction from one of the components into the Assembly, either associatively or not, but the curve which you will select as the 'guide' needs to be in the Assembly itself.
