Hello everyone. i am simulating the chain drive in abaqus. Chain is replaced with rigid rollers moving on a deformable sprocet element. the problem is four node quadrilateral rigid elements used in the simulation is deforming when i do the explicit dynamic simulation. Moreover when Nlgeom is on the simulation is chain is driving the sprocket good but, when it is off then the rigid elements are getting penetrated in to the defoemable object.
