Delete Apply Material in the tree............. 2

Hi,

I have run Apply Material to the current file.
Now, I want to remove the "Material" and the "Steel" in the tree, but it won't delete.

Does anybodyy know how could I still delete this item from the tree?

you need to make a copy of your object...
or export/import via step...
