We are looking into methods to dismantle a cast-iron frame for a large planer. The Frame consists mainly of (2) two columns, each approximately 22" wide X 142" deep X 25'-0" high with 2" wall thickness with internal support webbing. There is very little perimeter room and no access from the top for a crane. Does anyone have any suggestions for cutting these columns into smaller managable pieces?

Without seeing the project, you can use a plasma cutter and rig the pieces out.
