TATIANA, AN EDUCTOR, AS YOU PROBABLY ALREADY KNOW IS A "JET PUMP". THE "PUMP HANDBOOK", 2ND EDITION, BY KARRASIK CHAPTER 4 HAS THE THEORY ON CURVES ON THESE DEVICES. IF YOU GIVE ME YOUR MAILING ADDRESS OR FAX I'LL SEND THE 19 PAGES TO YOU .A LOT OF THESE USED TO BE DESIGNED BY "SCHUTTE AND KOERTING CO." YOU MAY ALSO WANT TO LOOK THEM UP ON THE INET TO OBTAIN AN APPLICATIONS ENGINEER WITH SPECIFIC PRODUCT LINE PERFORMANCE CURVES....PK [sig][/sig]

Dear Titania,

If you need to design an eductor, you will need to know the
upstream motive pressure, suction pressure for the eductor
and discharge or backpressure that the unit will be msubjected to. You will also need to define one of the flowrate (moptive, suction or discharge) as well as the temperature of the lquids. Having this information
I would be happy to size the proper eductor for you.

You can find out more about eductors at our web site

Sincerely,
