Have you used design checker? Is it useful?

I am running SW Office 2006 but the "design checker" is not present in the list available to "add-in". I wonder why?

It is a separate "Productivity Enhancement" add-on. Did you purchase it? If so was it installed?

I don't think the "What's new" file makes any mention of that. It's under SW Office features.

Sorry, I was wrong. It is not a separate add-on, it appears to be included in the Office Premium & Office Professional versions.

Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to try it, so cannot comment on whether it is good or not.

Are there three SW Office versions, Office, Office Premium and Office Professional?

Plain Solidworks Office isn't available for purchase anymore.

Just
Solidworks
Solidworks Office Professional
Solidworks Office Premium

They should just drop the "Office" tag.

for what it's worth, I've been playing with the design checker, and its not bad..... except, it seems you can only check the active document, so there's no way of checking a 100 files at a time (that I can find).
