Hi All,

Regarding the title of this post i was wondering if anyone has ever wrote a formula for the graph as I'm using it a lot and it would be great help to have it automated on my spread sheet rather than having to pull out this graph all the time.

Or

Does anyone one know how to formulate the the graph???

Best Regards

Hi Roca,

Thank you for your reply this does help.

My only other thing is if i want to calculate this automatically this would mean i have to note a lot of points down and then get excel to pick the correct range to look from??? and then use logarithmic interpolation to get the values in between the he/D line if my value isn't exactly on the line.

Is this correct??

gonna be a lot of work (but probably worth it).

...."get excel to pick the correct range to look from..." I don't think that excel will pick the correct range, that will be your responsibility. The rest of your reply is correct "... this would mean I have to note a lot of points..."

Hi Chicopee,

I think i will be able to get excel to look up the correct range depending on the value of p/f.

I was hoping the second part to your post wasn't agreeing with the amount of work required!! :-( [sad]

Oh well here goes the time consuming part, wish me luck!

Best Regards
Jonnox
