In the attached picture shows a concrete block and the direction of the two forces in the cut in the block. Anyone know of any references that explains how to design the details for the bottom face and right faces of this slit? Thank you!

I know of no references other than books on basic structural engineering analysis and concrete design. Problems like this are usually solved by breaking it down into simple assumptions and then using engineering analysis and design techniques to solve it.

Check shear on assumed failure plane.
Check bending and reinforce as necessary.
etc.

Bengalengineer,
U did not show the supports, which is very critical to obtain advice of fellow engineers.
You can it using any FEM software.

the supports are not the problem. The question was just about the concrete block and how to analyze it. I have come up with checking the block for shear along a certain plane, bending, and bearing stress.
