It depends in wich country you are and the voltage of the line you are interested to design, as well as if you want a complete design of the structures or only the shape and the load conditions, leaving the final calculation for the towers suppliers. You have to consider also if you wanto to include in the design the foundations or not. If you want more informatin please write me.

Check with your local electric utility (not sure which country you are in). Many electric utilities are competing for these type projects since they have the in-house skill (engineers, techs, surveyors, environmental, rates, regs, legal, etc.) and everyday contact with the "issues" of transmission lines.

You can try ECC- Larsen and Toubro's Engineering and Construction Division in Chennai India. You can forward a mail to kvrn@lntecc.com

ECC just completed a 132 kV D/C transmission line project of ours in Oman and they have a fabrication unit in Chennai.
They have supplied towers to outher foreign projects as well.
