I've used Inventor since 2010 version and created lots of Frame layouts in the Design area and never noticed this problem until now.
I create an assembly and use the 'Insert Frame' to place mainly flat bar. Sometimes I need to alter part of my design and save assemblies as R1, R2 etc. What has just shown up is that the 'Frame #" does not alter and if I change any part of it, it also changes every prior revision to reflect the current changes. I tried to save the frame under a different name but it won't let me. Any ideas as to how one should go about this.
