Design Loads for foreign countries

I may be looking for something that does not exist, but does anyone know of a source or website that would have design snow and wind loads for countries outside the United States. The specific areas I need the information for are all located in Eastern Europe.

The job entails adding a mechanical unit onto the roofs of various existing buildings. Unfortunately, the drawings I was able to locate for the buildings I am working on did not have design loads on the drawings and the specifications for the drawings were unable to be located. All the buildings were built in the 1950s.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

wubwub,

Do you know what building code applies to your job?

The jobs are all for the federal government and the particular agency we are working for still uses the 1997 UBC. Their specs call for minimum wind speeds (80mph) and snow loads (30 psf) if the information is not given to us from the client, and these loads seem reasonable (conservative in some cases) for the locations of my jobs, but I wanted to see if there was any literature where this is listed.

Thanks

Thanks vmirat for the website.

That helped with one of my jobsites. The 30psf for snow and 20psf for wind I originally assumed are conservative

Anyone else know of other sources.

Thanks

There are three snow zones in European part of former USSR with ground snow in the range of 50kg/m^2(10psf) -100kg/m^2(20psf), no reduction and drift consideration as in ASCE7.

There are three wind zones in the range of 50kg/m^2(10psf)-100kg/m^2(20psf) at elevation 20m(60ft).
