Jul 14, 2008 #6 frv Structural Dec 9, 2007 996 In Appendix D of ACI 318-05 there is little guidance with respect to dealing with supplementary reinforcement (strength provided by shear friction) 318-08 will have guidance on this. It's worth getting 318-08 just for that section. Upvote 0 Downvote
