Hello! I am making a spreadsheet to calculate the capacity of this steel box girder for flexure and shear. However, I am having trouble understanding the AISC code. Where can I read or see the formula to know whether the web and the flange of the girder are compact, noncompact, or slender? I only found in the code the limiting width-thickness ratios for the web. How about the flange? Is there something I missed? I am going to use this information to know whether the girder will experience web local buckling or flange local buckling.
