Design Pressure, MAWP, Operating Pressure

Hello everyone,

I wonder if someone can clarify for me, according to ASME VIII div 1 and 2 how I can specify the Design Pressure and MAWP with respect to Operating Pressure for a vessel under internal pressure.

See other post - IMHO. you can't because you don't know what allowance has been made by whoever set or calculated the operating pressure.

note MAWP and design pressure for a pressure vessel isn't the same as for piping or pipelines.
