DESIGN side mixer for diesel tank!

Hello to everybody!

I would like to ask for what ever kind of help about this theme!
I have task to DESIGN SIDE MIXER in the within tank for the diesel oil.The mixer must be axial propelere.

I WAS SEARCHING ABOUT THIS THEME EVERYWHER AND I DID NOT FOUND MOSTLY ANYTHING,only and just for the regular mixers.
(not side-lateral)

do you have some practicum about design or you know some sites about this!

My company (Philadelphia Mixing Solutions) manufactures side entry mixers. We usually use propellers and have covered many kinds of petroleum applications.

To perform a side entry sizing properly depends on the performance characteristics of the particular mixer and propeller system. (Some designs are very efficient, some are not). You'll need to know things like: are you performing blending or BS&W control, highest gravity of the fluid, viscosity, approximate bulk tank temperature, tank geometry, and location/number/elevation of access nozzles/manways. Good sizing can make for major energy savings.

Sorry I don't have details in the process calculations because I handle the mechanical design of these mixers.
