Hi All,

I have question about designing SMPS,
i have design half of my power supply,
I want to build 500W power supply with output of 24, 5, and 12, with switching freq 100Khz..
i have done until the pfc pre regulator, by using a chip.
Now the output is 400V,
and i would like to ask some suggestion about the DC/DC converter and also about the controller(PWM) and feedback.
I am looking for a chip that simple to use for that range.
and simple to understand it, maybe its explained well in the datasheet. Perhaps if you have some idea about it, what is the best chip(pwm), best converter, or maybe there is some good reference to learn, it would be very nice.4

Thank you,,

Kind regards

You have posted this same question to multiple forums!

From your post, it looks like you are really in over your head. Designing a SMPS is complicated enough as it is, but you are wanting to make one that has a relatively high wattage, multiple outputs, dealing with DC voltages in the 400V range, and you are asking about a CHIP to implement the design?

I really don't mean to offend, but there are a lot of issues above and beyond use of a controller chip, such as layout, power dissipation, serious magnetic design (you also said you want to switch at 100K). high voltage fet or IGBT selection, driving of the transistor gates, etc.
