Looking for an idea on design spec for 10K fittings, currently using BS3799 for 6K. Vendor is suggesting making Tees/Elbows from Solid bar for 10K, this is not allowed for 6K in the BS but we notice that the likes of Parker mention making 10K fittings from Bar which seems to also cover Tees/Elbows/Crosses.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated...

API 6A does have some requirements for 10K equipment, including tees but not elbows. The dimensions included in API 6A are end-to-end dimensions and flange dimensions, but not wall thickness or OD dimensions for the tee body.

Note that API 6A is not a listed standard in ASME B31.3 or the ASME BPVC. If you want to use API 6A as a design standard for these fittings, you should first make sure that it is allowed by whichever standard is required by the customer and/or applicable legal requirements.

Don't make elbows from bar for high pressure.
The centerline defects will be an issue.
I have seen this.
They start with an extruded equal leg "L" shape and cut off short pieces to bore for elbows.
