Design table-cannot insert

Hello everybody!
I have troubles with inserting design table in a part SW document. It just doesn`t appear! I`ve tried everything: reinstalled solidworks, installed different service packs (1-4), reinstalled MsOffice - it doesn`t work! Could anybody help me with this?

By "part SW document", I assume you mean a SW drawing. BOMs can only be inserted into drawings, not models.

Are you preselecting a drawing view?

I assume you mean SLDPRT file or SLDASM file. Do you have Excel working? It works OK for me here. What version of SW and excel are you running?

Have you previously been able to insert a DT on your system?

Have you updated or upgraded any software or hardware recently?

When installing and re-installing SW, did you disable the anti-virus?
