Hi All

I have designed a bolt and managed to associate more than one design table with it. When I instantiate the bolt from a catalog I get a dialog which complains about the "orphaned table". The dialog can be despatched and everything but is annoying.

Anyone know how to purge the CATPart document of unused tables?

Thanks

Jeff

Thanks for your reply "itsmyjob".

I did not try your method of removing design tables and I am not sure that it would work. It implies that there is something wrong with the design table (corrupt or otherwise damaged), I don't think that was the case.

Anyway there is some good news! The way to deal with design tables after you have created them is first of all be able to see them! I found out that they appear in the spec tree if you turn on the option in Tools\Options\Infrastructure\Part Infrastructure - look for relations under "Display in specification tree".

After restarting Catia? you can see, delete and edit the design table - Hurrah!
